Animation

The Animation add-in performs motion simulation of 3D products developed with KOMPAS-3D. The add-in simulates real-world motions of products and their component parts, and then records them as video recordings in AVI format.

Automatic collision detection of parts during the motion analysis helps prevent design errors. A variety of types and parameters of part motions are available, such as velocity, rotation frequency, and duration.

Animation process scenario is saved in standard XML-format of text files.

Animation library not only amends design process’s level, including its obviousness and convenience, but also intensifies competitiveness of a company during competitive projects development.
